Provo Golf Club has been rated in the top ten of the
Caribbean golf courses and has received rave reviews from Golf
Magazine, Golf Week and Golf Digest.
“I love this course,” says golf professional, Peter Boyce, the club's past director. “I was afraid it might be too tough, but resort players like it. If a course is too easy, they don’t feel challenged and then they don’t remember much about it later. Believe me, this course they’ll remember!”
The clubhouse, a hexagon with
three sides facing the golf course, is normally cooled by prevailing
winds, but is fully air-conditioned when need be. Fairways Bar &
Grill, offers a variety of cool Caribbean drinks, including Dervent's
famous Rum Punch. Breakfast and lunch menu items are available from
7:00 am to 3 pm daily, with the bar remaining open into the evening.
Diners may sit indoors or out on the covered deck overlooking the
golf course. This is definitely the greenest view on Provo.
The Pro Shop is located across from the bar on the upper level of the clubhouse and offers the latest in men's and women's golf and casual fashions, including shirts, shorts, sweat shirts and T-shirts... all crested with the club's own special insignia.
